The Rotary Club of Holderness presents ‘An Evening of Choral Music’ by The Beverley Male Voice Choir.

Cottingham Civic Hall, 4th October 2019.

This event is in support of equipment for the Oncology Wards at The Queens Medical Centre, Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham.

Doors open 7pm with the concert running from 7.30 until 9.30pm

A bar and light refreshments will be available.

The Choir will be singing songs in Zulu, Welsh, Yorkshire and some English.  Songs to include the BMVC version of “On Ilkla Moor B’aht ‘at”, the very moving “Tell my Father” and, for those motivated by the recent re-emergence of Queen “Bohemian Rhapsody – all 7 minutes of it.

The soloist will be Glyn Cohen, one of the Choir’s outstanding tenors, accompanied by the highly accomplished and popular pianist Dorcas Leather.  All this and the chance to support Castle Hill’s Oncology Ward.
